Our Head Coach, Pete Jones, has over 10 years of CrossFit gym ownership and coaching experience and is a Certified CrossFit Level 3 Trainer. He has worked with all levels of athletes and more than anything he loves teaching new people about CrossFit. In addition to CrossFit, our expert team has years of experience in elite sports performance training, strength & conditioning, injury prevention and rehabilitation. The Impact crew along with our partners Fitfuel Performance Nutrition, Synapse Physical Therapy,and Boulder Therapeutics have worked with athletes in the NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS, IHL, NCAA and US National teams.

Occupation: Head CrossFit Coach, Hockey Coach and Personal Trainer
Johnnie started Crossfit in November 2013, He has competed in multiple Crossfit Competitions, Powerlifting Competitions even Half Ironman’s. Before joining Impact Sports he was a professional semi professional hockey player. He has played in Switzerland, Finland, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and all over the continental United States.
He has been a certified personal trainer since 2006 and he keeps pursuing his fitness career, he is currently in rolled in the Level III CrossFit Coach Program as well as Westside Barbell Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Pete has been coaching CrossFit for more than 10 years and started CrossFit in 2008 as a way to cross-train for marathons and Ironman Triathlons, and soon found it to be a much more enjoyable—and optimal—way to sustain a healthy lifestyle. In 2010, he convinced his wife to let him “train a few people out of the garage,” which has grown to training over 350 people out of 2 large warehouses. He has coached over 9000 classes since then and has dedicated his career to helping people achieve their fitness-related goals. Here is what Pete had to say about why he loves CrossFit: “Since starting CrossFit, I look forward to every workout. Once I realized the on/off cycle was gone I knew there was something special about CrossFit. I think it is a combination of the daily competition against myself, the results, the camaraderie, and community. At some point I realized I was not only pretty passionate about it but also pretty good at coaching and helping people reach their goals. I check the CrossFit Journal constantly throughout the day. I watch every training video I can get my hands on. I read nutrition books for fun. WHAT?!” At the gym, he is known for overuse of the terms "ez-pz" and "you got this."

Kari has been personal and small group training for 6 years and is currently an owner and director at Impact Fitness. Kari has always been an outdoor and fitness enthusiast. She was a competitive swimmer and runner through high school and college and has since competed and placed in many triathlons and endurance biking and running events. It is Kari’s mission to help clients gain strength, flexibility, mobility, and endurance so they are ready and able to compete, play, parent and keep up with life's busy schedules. She specializes in personal and small group training, weight loss, high intensity circuit training, strength training, and general fitness. She is dedicated to energizing, empowering and equipping clients and members for all of their passions and adventures. Kari absolutely loves people and she is all about creating a positive and motivating community!
